National Cancer Institute—Childhood Cancers:

The NCI is the U.S. federal government's primary agency to address research and training needs for the cause, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. The information and resources at this link provide a starting point for understanding the basics of childhood cancer.

Standards for Psychosocial Care for Children with Cancer and their Families:!access-standards/c1dja

Pediatric oncology psychosocial professionals and an interdisciplinary group of over 80 experts and stakeholders, from the U.S., Canada and the Netherlands, developed this set of evidence-based standards for the psychosocial care of children with cancer and their families. Each of the 15 Standards has its own dedicated article published in Pediatric Blood & Cancer, and there is one overview article describing the methodologies used to develop the standards.
